A Dutch Treat!

  Welcome to Susan's Kitchen!

Susan's my wife, and this is her page; she sez her quality time is spent in the kitchen, and since I want this to be a quality page, I asked her to do it in the kitchen. The result is a recipe a week from Susan's Kitchen!

Here's the first one:

SOYA CHICKEN

One of the easiest and quickest methods of preparing your favourite chicken. Preparation Time: just 10 minutes. Believe me it comes most handy when you have those unexpected guests. This recipe is one of the most valuable gifts my mom-in-law passed on to me.

INGREDIENTS
1)one chicken
2)soya sauce
3)one tsp red chillie powder

PROCEDURE
STEP 1 Cut chicken into small pieces.
STEP 2 Heat a pan. Put the chicken pieces into it. Drown the chicken pieces in soya sauce.
STEP 3 Add some red chillie powder (optional).
STEP 4 Cook for 5-10 minutes.
STEP 5 Serve hot.

As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Feast on this!

Since our wedding was in Kerala, there were lots of our friends from Delhi who couldn't make it. So, once we returned from Europe and were allotted a room in Mahanadi Married Students Hostel, I got busy inviting our friends over, and Susan got busy in the kitchen. We've held over a dozen mini-receptions so far and, I'm proud to say, everyone's gone back with a contented look on their faces.  Watch out for more mouth-watering recipes coming your way soon!
